Jim Parker

Jim Parker is Senior Editor of Hospice News and Palliative Care News, publications serving the hospice and health care industries. He began his journalism career in 2000 covering agencies like the Departments of Homeland Security, Transportation, Labor and Health and Human Services, and began covering health care and hospice in 2006.

In 2019, Parker helped launch Hospice News, which has grown to become the hospice industry’s leading trade publication. Hospice News in 2025 was named a finalist for both the Azbee Awards for Business Journalism and the Neal Awards for Best Industry Coverage.
