Multimedia offering caters to wind power market with focus on design engineering, installation, and maintenance

The Windpower Engineering multi-media offering includes a new print magazine, online components and events catering to the wind power market.
The print component, Windpower Engineering, will deliver a technical tutorial approach on the design engineering, installation, and maintenance of wind related projects. Additionally, www.windpowerengineering.com, will provide daily news, video, supplier innovations, editorial, policy, and wind power project updates while continuing to emphasize the design engineering, maintenance, and installation aspects of wind power generation and engineering.
In collaboration with Canon Communications, Windpower Engineering (www.windpowerengineering.com) and Design World (www.designworldonline.com) will be the primary media sponsors for a one-day session titled, “Wind Power Explained – Design and Component Integration.” The session will is co-located at the Design and Manufacturing Midwest show and scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Illinois. Speakers from the Department of Energy, Sandia National Labs, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, GE Energy, Clipper Windpower, and Northern Power are scheduled to participate.
